Woman in Business Spotlight: Lizzie Oren

Hello Beautiful Ladies,

I am very passionate about helping others, especially my fellow business women because I feel society pushes us to believe we have to be against each other. In reality we should be supporting, cheering each other on, standing together and taking over the world. Don't you agree?

What is the point of hating on a woman that has the same passion as you? There is enough to go around, enough to make your business successful, enough clients, enough money, enough of everything you need. With that said, every month I will bring the spotlight to amazing women that I have had the pleasure of meeting, networking with and becoming friends with.

This month's woman in business spotlight is: Lizzie Oren

Even though we have not met in person, right from the start I felt a warm welcoming. Little did I know who I was chatting with all this time. I read her blog and I come to find out that she is an amazing makeup artist in her home town. I was so impressed and amazed by her humbleness. When I read about her I needed to pick at her brain and find out how she began and what drives her.

Ms Lizzie Oren has been a makeup artist for more than six years and recently started blogging in 2015. She always had a passion for blogging but was too busy as a makeup artist, but who blames her? She became the Chief Makeup Artist and Brand Consultant of Jazzy France and Pinkies Collections. She was the Co-Founder of Philippine Makeup Artists Association and formerly the Managing Editor of Makeup Magazine. I mean, with all of those roles who has time to blog? However, she is getting it done!

So, I asked her a few questions to try and get to know her a little better:

Lizzie Oren: Major milestones I guess last 2012 when I got 3 major awards from different makeup competitions as a makeup artist. Competing like almost  hundreds of makeup artist. From those 3 competitions, I was in 2nd place.

Q: Road blocks?

Lizzie Oren: "My self, fear. I guess that's it." 

Q: What advice would you give other aspiring makeup artist and bloggers?

Lizzie Oren: "Advise.  Whatever you are doing now just keep going. Never allow your fear to paralyze you. Always remember that there is best on the other side of your fear. Keep going and keep improving. Always be hungry for knowledge. 

Q: What is you mission in life?

Lizzie Oren: "Mission in life is to inject goodness in the blogsphere. So much violence and negativity in a digital world. My part is to share the beauty and love in my blog."

As a powerful business woman with passion in her field Ms Lizzie Oren is someone we can all look up to for her hard work and accomplishments. Every woman in business should be recognized because it is hard work to go after your dreams and I am glad to be able to meet such inspiring women like herself.
