5 Fashion Hacks – How to get rid of lint, Shoe Scuffs, Deodorant from Clothes

Hello Beautiful,

Let's be honest fashion can be a little intimidating with all the textures, colors and care instructions. The last thing we need when putting an outfit together last minute is finding our shoes all scuffed up, or getting deodorant all over our dress while you are running out the door, or noticing your favorite sweater all linty. Today I want to share my five fashion hacks that every woman should know.

HACK # 1
When you find your favorite heels are scuffed up you can use a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip and rub off the scuff. Another method if you do not want to use alcohol is taking a little petroleum jelly with a cloth and rub it off.

HACK # 2
Don't you hate getting deodorant all over your clothes? Specially on the black ones?  Get rid of those deodorant marks from you dress or blouse by simply rub it off with a lint free fabric. Or use the same garment to clean it off and voila! the marks are gone. Super easy and no need to use a baby wipe.

HACK # 3
If you find your favorite sweater or another article of clothing with lint balls simply grab a razor and shave off those lint balls and watch as they disappear, just like when you are shaving you legs. Same technique. When you using this method please be very gentle and careful because you can rip your clothes.

HACK # 4
I like my shoes to be shinny and clean all the time. I like that quote "Don't take advice from someone with ugly shoes", yeah so start taking care of your shoes. With that said bring some shine to your leather heels or boots by cleaning the dust or dirt with a wash cloth (I like to actually wash my shoes with soap and water and drying them off with a cloth, but that is a totally different blog) once you clean off the dust add a little petroleum jelly and rub in with a cloths and watch as they come back to life.

HACK # 5
This last fashion hack is when you are out shopping and really don't feel like going into the dressing room and trying on a pair of pants. If you want to see if they will fit simply grab the waist line and wrap it around your neck if the two ends meet they fit, if they over lap they are too bug and of course if the ends do not meet move a size up.

Hope this was helpful and you learned something new. Thank you!
