Makeup Monday's: What is your eye shape?

Hello beautiful, 

Just like we all have different face shapes and we need to learn what compliments our face shape and skin color we also nee to learn what type of eyes we have and how we can make them look better. 

Today I will go over the different eye shapes and what compliments them. I suggest you analyse your eyes and determine what eye shape you are so you can try it at home when you are doing your makeup. Hope these tips are helpful. 

DIFFERENT TYPE OF EYE SHAPES

CLOSET EYES: Eyes narrower than one eye width are regarded as closet set. Use light colors on the inner corners, and extend the outer corners using black colors. Line outer corners, use mascara on outer corners.

FAR SET EYES: Eyes are far apart from your nose. Start by filling in brows closer to each other. Darker colors to the center lid and inner lid and a longer lash in the center.

DOWN TURNED EYES: The name of the shape is self explanatory and the focus is to lift the eye up. You can achieve this by  applying eye shadow along the socket in the outer corners of the eyes and blending up and out. 

DEEP SET EYES: The eye is deep into the socket. Apply light colors on the lid and darker tones on the socket and blend the color upwards and out. Focus on lifting eyes up by applying liner and bring it up and shadowing the outer socket of the eyes and apply lashes and mascara

PROTRUDING EYES: The eye is the main focus of the face and the best way to shade is by using  a darker colors on the lid and lower lash line. Full trip lashes compliment the eye very well. 

ALMOND EYES: The eye are considered to have the ideal shape and any technique looks good.
