Makeup Monday's Tip: Eyebrows that Slay

Eyebrows are what make and shape your face and it's about time people take their eyebrows seriously. I think we need to educate our little girls just that and not let them wax or pluck them out when they are young. When I was growing up I did not listen and started to mess with the little hairs that I had and as I grew older, well they disappeared. I know many of you like myself were not born with full thick eyebrows and are always trying to find ways to make them appear fuller or even. One of my customers came in to the shop and reminded me on how we are always looking for ways to look better. I want to cover a few ways you can give your eyebrows the illusion of fuller eyebrows.

1. Eyebrow tinting: A method used to darken your brow and skin that gives an illusion of darker and thicker eyebrows. You can get this done at salons and at home. 
2. Eyebrow 3D permanent makeup: This method is like a tattoo were a professional creates hair like strokes to fill in and shape your eyebrows. 
3. Eyebrow extensions: With this method a professional with adhere a single strand of hair to fill in your eyebrows just like they do with eyelash extensions. 
4. Eyebrow makeup: The easiest and most affordable is to fill in your eyebrows with eye shadow, gel or pencil. 
5. Oil: If you want to naturally grow your eyebrows there are different oil you can apply to stimulate hair growth like coconut oil and castor oil.

Now that I have gone over the techniques you can do to create the illusion of fuller eyebrows and stimulate hair growth, I want to share a technique that I use to fill them in. The easiest method is obviously to fill in your eyebrows with makeup, but I know it can be a little hard to get them just right. What I like to use is a eyebrow stencil, an eyebrow gel and powder.
